The Sölden ski area is divided into two large areas of similar size called Gigijoch and Gaislachkogl. Each is accessible by direct cable-cars with more than 1.000 meters of height difference that start from each ends of the village. Gaislachkogl slopes, all red or black, are outstanding while Gigi is an area a little easier with some blue runs for timid intermediates. At top of the mountain, there are the two glaciers with excellent, if easy, slopes. Both areas are connected in altitude via the Rettenbach glacier, or skiing via Langegg. The whole ski area is high altitude above the tree-line, except the slopes that go down to the village. The high altitude and excellent north-east facing slopes guarantee exceptional snow conditions. Thanks millionaire investments due in recent years, Sölden is one of the resorts with better and more modern lifts in Austria.
Sölden is a villge built in typical Tyrolean style, criss-crossed by a river and really broad, does feels as a big international resort. We can find a gondola at each edge of the town, connecting the center and other areas with an efficient ski-bus service.
Sölden is very famous because its lively après ski. The resort has plenty of restaurants, pubs, bars with live music and lively nightclubs. As usual in Austria, the party starts on the slopes and continues until late in the morning. The atmosphere is young and cheerful. Keep in mind that staying in town center do not always gurantee a quiet night sleep, because of the nightlife. .
Non-skiers will find a "Freizeit Arena" with a sports center and indoor swimming pool, a skating rink, 16 km of cross-country tracks, badminton, paragliding, 30 km walking-trails in the snow. It is also possible to do a day trip to Innsbruck.

Places of interest

      • Day 1
        Flight to Munich.

        Check-in at your home airport 90 minutes before the scheduled flight departure destination Munich. On arrival at Munich transfer to Sölden or, if you prefer, pickup of rental car to transfer on your own. On arrival to accommodation, check-in and first night in Sölden.

      • Day 2-7

        You have six full days to enjoy the 150 Km. of high-altitude slopes using the ultra-modern lifts covered by the ski pass you have included in the tour price. You will spend a total of 7 nights in Sölden.

      • Day 8
        Flight back home.

        In time transfer to the airport. Or drop-off the rental car at Munich airport 120 minutes before the scheduled departure of your flight. Arrival and end of the trip and our services.

About car

Are snow tires included in the car rental?

Snow tires are obligatory at some destinations and can be booked with us but the price is considered an extra and must be paid at the car rental office directly.

Car driver minimum age.

Usually, car rental companies charge an additional fee when car driver is younger than 25 yy. That amount depends on car category, country, etc. It must be paid at destination.

About flight

Does my flight include the ski equipment as a baggage?

Some companies have included in their rates the ski equipment but others don't. It is necessary to check it with the company chosen before departure.

How can I get my ski pass?

You have to print and take with you the ski pass voucher that we send to you. Exchange it and collect your ski pass at the cash desk of the ski resort that the voucher indicates.
